- Joint French-Japanese project within the CNRS/JST ICT understanding in virtual reality ("Improving the VR Experience"), headed by Dominique Bechmann and Caroline Essert (IGG, LSIIT), accepted for 3 years (2008-2010). Three french labs CNRS and INRIA and six japanese labs are concerned from which Michitika Hirose (Tokyo University) and Makato Sato (Tokyo Institute of Technology). Overall budget : 90k€.
